Business Analyst Requirements
The process was quite complex, and many of the data fields were completely new to me. When the BA explained them, my first reaction was, “I’ve never seen these before!” 😅 So I did what any curious designer would do—I started researching, Googling, and learning the basics. I combined my research with the inputs from the BA to understand the workflow better. Since there were no direct competitors to benchmark against, I had to create and maintain my own design benchmarks along the way.

Great design puts users first. Thoughtful layouts, straightforward menus, and well-structured content ensure everyone—regardless of ability—can navigate with ease, making interactions smooth and frustration-free.

Initially, we started the design with two side navigations since there were two subdivisions in the process. The idea was to make navigation easier and clearer for users. However, the client mentioned they were already using a similar approach and wanted something different. So I redesigned the wireframe using a tab-based structure with side navigation, creating a waterfall-like flow. This approach was well received and accepted by the client.

The flow starts with selecting the product. After that, the investor contribution amount and the required basic details are filled in. Once these initial details are completed, the remaining information is filled step by step, where each tab opens only after the previous fields are completed. This creates a structured and guided flow for the user.
Note: Some page headings have been modified to maintain client confidentiality
